 The Defence Science and Technology Organisation is part of Australia's Department of Defence. DSTO is the Australian Government’s lead agency charged with applying science and technology to protect and defend Australia and its national interests.

DSTO Publications Online consists of 2 collections:

• Scientific and technical reports that have been approved for public release.
• Records of papers and presentations published by DSTO staff, sometimes in collaboration with scientists outside of DSTO.
